More about ListenUp & ListenIn

In 2024, Chiltern Arts began work on the R&D phase of this ambitious outreach project to engage and inspire a new generation of listeners, and in 2025, our aim is to give at least 1,000 children in Buckinghamshire a live professional concert experience.

ListenUp and ListenIn integrate with our diverse festival programme — featuring some of the UK’s finest established and emerging musicians — and embody the values and beliefs upon which the charity was founded: that providing context for music, and presenting it in a way that assumes no prior knowledge of concert etiquette or the music itself, is the best way today to reach a broad and diverse audience. Join us as we develop this ambitious, exciting project.
