During the 2026 Festival, Chiltern Arts will run three ListenUp Schools Concerts, inviting Primary Schools to bring their year 5s and 6s to join us for a concert (for free!) at one of three venues in Great Missenden, High Wycombe and Henley-on-Thames. These concerts are specifically designed for children, with varied and engaging programmes from top professional musicians and artists.

In Great Missenden the Marian Consort present a concert of choral music, including the opportunities for the audience to get involved with the singing!

In Henley, the Ferio Saxophone Quartet and Dew Dance present a mixed-media performance of music and movement.

In High Wycombe, the Gildas String Quartet take us on a whistle-stop tour of the history of the String Quartet, with music from across the centuries.

Participating schools will receive free resources ahead of the event that help to engage the children in the music they will hear at the concert, and give you information about what to expect on the day.
