Chiltern Arts is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join the team as Festival Assistant, initially on a freelance basis.

With three launch concerts in September, October and December this year and the first Chiltern Arts Festival in February 2018, the Festival Assistant will work closely with Chiltern Arts Founder and Creative Director and will be asked to cover a number of tasks including general administration, database compilation and leaflet distribution.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in classical music and the arts and aspirations to work in arts administration or classical music festivals.

For the right candidate, the role also has the potential to expand over time to encompass a wide range of responsibilities and experience.

£80 per day plus 30p per mile for petrol expenses
Flexible working hours
Own vehicle required
