2018 is the final year of the World War One Centennial Anniversary. Chiltern Arts will be commemorating the Great War with a several events throughout the festival in February, including a Music of World War One Discovery Day, poetry readings and a poetry competition. This year’s sound and art installation theme is ‘1918: Memory’ and inspiration can be drawn from the events of World War One itself, memories that are personal to the writer, or anything else that the theme inspires.
