City Soundscapes: Huw Wiggin, Noriko Ogawa, Oliver Wass

Friday 10th May 2024 , 7:30 pm 9:30 pm

Three internationally-acclaimed musicians come together as a combination of trio, duo and soloists to perform a beautiful, intimate programme of works by Debussy, Liszt, Gershwin and Bach plus contemporary arrangements by Iain Farrington, and Joseph Phibbs’ hauntingly beautiful
Night Paths, inspired by life in New York City.

As we journey through some of the greatest cities of the world, in and out of different times and glimpsing snapshots of individual lives, carefully-selected poetry pairings alongside this gorgeous programme of chamber music will allow us to step back from the day-to-day through soundscapes that allow us to reflect on our own lives, the lives of those who have come before and those that are yet to come.
