In 2024, Chiltern Arts begins work on the first phase of an ambitious outreach project to engage and inspire a new generation of listeners while also building our connection with you, our festival audience.

The project is two-fold: firstly, ListenUp offers access to concerts for young people aged 9–14. This part of the project will be delivered through schools, and you may see small groups of young people attending rehearsals or concerts throughout the Festival.

Secondly, ListenIn is a free online resource that offers a number of ways to learn about, engage with or explore the music and artists that you’ll hear at the Festival. Soon, this page will be home to a growing collection of interviews, stories, poetry and images that bring our events into context and provide new ways of thinking about, listening to or experiencing music.
